There are three – Multipurpose room’s 1, 2 and 3. Your rental include those three rooms, bathroom, lounge and patio. Kitchen would be an additional $125 charge.
How much is the rental fee?
The Mill Race Center (MRC) rental fee is $1,400 for eight hours.
The eight hour block of time can be divided into two separate times for the day of the event.
Example – A block of time for decorations, caterer, flower, etc. and the remainder of the 8 hours for the event. That division of the 8 hours is solely per the discretion of the renter. If the renter desires the MRC to open up earlier or stay later than the allotted 8 hour time limit, a fee of $150 per extra hour will be assessed. Rental fee includes set up, take down and use of patio if desired. Table and chairs are provided by the MRC but linens are not.
Can I rent just one or two rooms?
Yes, but the rental fee will still be $1,400 the same as renting all three rooms
How many people can be seated?
The three rooms can accommodate 250 people with 10 chairs per table (we recommend on 8 chairs per table) or 200 – 350 people theater style.
Can I rent rooms for events Monday thru Friday?
Sorry but no. Sometimes extra rental time can be requested and paid for on Friday’s after 5:00pm.
Can I serve alcohol at my event?
Yes, but with stipulations – please see the Rental’s Policy sheet which gives detailed information.
Security: When the renter decides that alcohol will be served at their event, the renter will be charged will have to secure security. No exceptions to this policy.
Is there Audio / Visual access and support?
The MRC has an excellent sound system and different screens the renter can use. The costs for A/V at MRC is a fee of $25 per hour.
Is there a kitchen that can be used?
Yes, it is a onetime event fee of $ 125.
If it is determined by the MRC the kitchen is left in a condition other than in which it was found, a clean-up fee of $50 will be accessed. Please see the Rentals Policy sheet for more details.
50% to be paid at the time of the reservation
$100.00 damage deposit (refunded if MRC is left on good shape).
$300.00 damage deposit for events which serve alcohol.
